Tales of Mountains and Seas

Final outcome of residency at New Order of Fashion in collaboration with Martine Van’t Hul, exploring the potential of repurposing old garment through machine and hand embroidery. Beginning from an old cotton shirt, all materials were cellulose based to keep the materials in a closed-looped system. The design is inspired by Korean traditional Folk Paintings and embroidery.
